Title of Research : 'Continuum of Care of Mothers and lmmunization Status of their children: Further Analysis using Myanmar Demographic and Health Survey (2015-16)

Field of Research : Public Health

Preliminary Research Design : Analytic Study

Preliminary Research Type : Basic

Preliminary Justification : Maternal mortality is still unacceptably high in Myanmar. As maternal mortality is an important indicator for the gap in maternal health services utilization, efflux of vaccine preventable diseases outbreaks also highlights the importance of immunization program. There is limited study conducting the continuum of care of mother and immunization status of children using Myanmar DHS (2015-16) data. Preliminary Objectives : 1. To describe the prevalence of continuum of care of mothers (15-49 years aged) 2. To describe the prevalence of immunization status of their children (12-59 months aged) 3. To determine the association between continuum of care of mothers and immunization status of their children

Preliminary Sample Size : This study will be analyzed weighted number of 3292 children (12-59 months) and their mothers (15-49 years).
