Finding and results from the researches of medical professionals are useful for both academic and daily medical practices. For improving research experiences and practices of medical professionals, effective supports and proper management are needed to provide according to their needs and difficulties facing during conducting research. However, there is limited finding regarding perceptions and difficulties during conducting research among Myanmar medical professionals. University of Medicine 1, Yangon is trying to improve the areas of research as one of academic fulfillment among post-graduate medical students. To fulfill the expectation of University, it is important to search basic needs and requirements in conducting research among post-graduate students. Therefore this study may give baseline information such as perception and difficulties of Doctorate and Ph.D candidates learning in the Final Year who have passed by some experiences of research in previous academic years, under University of Medicine 1, Yangon. By exploring these information, related stakeholders including faculty staffs and administrators will be able to intervene further procedures and programs for improvement of research activities of the University. Moreover, the curriculum for research training may be modified to address the gaps in conducting research. Removing barriers may improve the outcomes of scientific research by medical professionals. |

The purposive sampling will be applied. Formerly, the list of candidates meet with eligible criteria will be taken from Department of Student Affair, University of Medicine 1. According to the list obtained, all Doctorate and PhD candidates from both preclinical and clinical subjects studying final year during the academic year 2020 will be selected. |
